my honest Tasman UGGs review
READ MY 2024 TASMAN UGG REVIEW UPADTE HERE!
I’m almost two weeks in of owning the Tasman UGG slippers and considering I have worn them every single day since… I feel I can give a first impression review now 😛 I’ll start by saying I LOVEEE them and think they’re a great purchase! But sometimes my cup of tea isn’t your cup of tea so I’ll spill all the thoughts I’ve had during the last two week with my new babies!

After doing a lot of research on the Tasman UGGs boot (reading reviews, sizing charts, ways to style etc etc) I can give you my own personal opinions on reviews and sizing! I also had quite a few questions in my instagram DM’s regarding sizing, comfort and fit so I figured I’d answer them here as well for anyone else wondering!
SIZING:
After reading many reviews on sizing (because UGG’s in general are known for stretching out, being snug at first etc etc) I read that sizing up an entire boot size would be the move. Even though a typical UGG boot would be to size down! (my other boots are in 8’s!! When my boot size is a 9!) After reading further I read that getting your normal size in MENS would be the better move because they fit a little more wide than woman’s (I have double wide trailer feet soooo) In the end I decided to order the Mens 9! I’m originally an 8-8.5 in shoes, though boots I go for the 9’s (in women’s!)
I got the mens 9 in the mail and they were WAY too big… so that was a fail and my research flopped HAHA! *P.S there were NO women size 9/10 ANYWHERE in stores near me to try on so I was in the dark here – thank god for free returns :P*
Long story short – I’m a 9 in boots and the reviews told me to get a 10… I tried on and purchased the 9’s and all is good! So ditch the reviews and grab your normal boot size, I experimented enough for the both of us!! 😛
FIT:
In my head I was thinking they were more like slip ons… and I was wrong! You have to actually put them on like a boot! They will not just slide on. And what I mean by that is like… using your hands to out the backs of them up HAHA! SOO if you had the same thought as I did, don’t be alarmed or think they’re too tight or you can’t get them on when you just slide them.
Secondly, once I had them on and realized they were not slide ons… the back doesn’t necessarily go up your ankle like an actual boot so when you’re walking, they will most definitely feel like a slide instead of a boot. But since you put it on like a boot, it doesn’t fall or slide off!
And lastly, they are snug! The good kind of snug though! I have a really high arch on my feet so naturally my fit more snug than someone without a high arch or flat footed so please take that into consideration! I personally love the snug they give, especially if they are like the other UGGs that stretch within time!
I really hope I’m making myself clear above and not leaving you confused!!
WAYS TO STYLE:
We all know here that I’m all for the comfort! So the majority of these outfits I will wear with the Tasman UGGs will be full comfort and more for the everyday wear. AKA I highly recommend the obvious by not wearing these to the office 😉
They do have that hard sole, so these are definitely outdoor shoes rather than an inside “slipper” as the name sort of portrays! Though I will admit, before I wore them outside I wore them all over the house 😛
DM QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Are they actually comfortable?
I 1000% think they are comfortable! Super warm and cozy, comfortable to walk in. It’s a yes from me!
Was sizing up too big?
Yes! I’m usually a 8-8.5 in shoes and a 9 in boots, with UGGS you typically size down from your boot size (8 for me) though reviews were saying to size up a boot size (10 for me) and that ended up being too big! I recommend your normal boot size!! Scroll up to the “sizing” paragraph above for more info!
Are they worth it?
Depending on what you consider to be a “splurge” I’ve always personally thought splurging on footwear is ALWAYS the play. I’m more of a quality over quantity when it comes to shoes. You’re literally on your feet 90% of the day, so comfort is mandatory (for me) and typically you get what you pay for in that department sooooo keep that in mind for your next shoe purchases! When it comes to the Tasman UGGs – YES! Totally worth it! I say 10/10!
Do you wear socks with them to make them more snug?
I’ve worn them both ways! They’re meant to be worn without socks for ultimate coziness, and thats true! But the temps here are dropping and throwing a pair of boots socks (these are my fave from amazon!) on with them are my go to at the moment! And yes, they do become more snug with the socks as you could imagine, but not at all a problem IMO!
Do you wear them inside or outside?
They can be worn in both but I personally wear them outside! When I first got them I wore them around the house, though after I wore them outside for the first time I no longer worn them in the house – for obvious reasons I feel like! If I wanted a more “inside UGG slipper” I would def go for the Scuffette UGGs!
OVERALL REVIEW:
My overall review of the Tasman UGGs is a 10/10! They’re extremely comfortable and are super cute! Like I said above, I’m more of a quality over quantity type of shoe person, and I think these are the perfect addition to my tiny shoe collection <3
